I have made lots of "best-of" CDs of my favorite artists where I might want to segue songs together slightly (but not every song), or control the length of the segue or the gap between songs, beatmatch, etc.

I'm looking for an iTunes plug-in or app that would allow me to create better playlists with these kind of features and then save them within iTunes so I can play them in my vehicle using my iPod.

I've seen lots of DJ add-on software for iTunes where you can create playlists but haven't run across one that would let me save the feature-laden playlists right into iTunes.

Anybody ever heard of such a thing?
