As a teenager in 1980s south London I loved it: the brilliance of Cole's character was that everyone knew someone they described as "an Arthur Daley type", including people too young to have seen the show on its original run. I'm sure there'll be re-runs aplenty, though, in the UK at least. There seems to be a lot of 1980s nostalgia around at the moment. There's even a 1980s channel here, which shows endless repeats of Knight Rider, Baywatch, The A Team, Matt Houston, etc. etc.  |  IP: Logged
