HI all. I'm trying to track down a photograph seen by a colleague on here depicting a number of film platters strewn around a field some years ago around the time of the digital change over. Does anyone know who owns it or where I can see it?

I can't seem to find the thread(s) but I had saved the pictures I found. These may or may not be the ones you were thinking of.

I had driven by the Strong factory in Nebraska one of those summers visiting a friend and saw a similar view, couldn't stop then but was going to stop on my way back. Of course, I couldn't find it for the life of me, even making 2 separate special trips!

Again, these pictures are NOT mine.

Thanks Buck. These may well be the pics in question. Very emotive even if they're not and yes I understand that they're origin is still unknown.
Once again.
Thanks
Bert

Well, Strong platters were pretty crappy anyways.

Still looking for the owner of these images if anyone can help? To be included in a new feature documentary about films place in the digital age. Bert
