York County movie theater shooting: What we know now
Staff report, York Daily Record

A man was killed and a female victim wounded in a shooting at a York County, Pennsylvania, movie theater Dec. 2.

While police have not specified a motive, they say the victim who was killed was targeted. There was no attempt at a mass shooting or danger to the public afterward.
One of two suspects has been arrested and charged, but police say the alleged gunman is at large.

Here’s what we know now:
Who’s charged in the shooting?
Three days after the shooting, Dec. 5, police charged 19-year-old Jalen Bellaflores of Conewago Township, York County, with criminal homicide. At the time, they indicated there was a second suspect but did not give out details.

On Friday, Dec. 6, police said they were also looking for 20-year-old Anu-Malik Johnson in connection with the shooting.
Johnson, who police say fired the shots, was still at large and "extremely dangerous," police said. He faces charges of criminal homicide, aggravated assault and illegally possessing a firearm.
Police developed the two suspects through witness statements, video surveillance and bank card records, court documents state.
In addition, the shooting victim's girlfriend has been charged with counts including tampering with evidence.

Who are the victims?
Andre White Jr., 22, of Carlisle, Pennsylvania, died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to the York County Coroner’s Office.
White was unconscious and not breathing when the responding officer arrived at the scene inside one of the theaters, police say. He was transported to York Hospital and pronounced dead there.

A female shooting victim, who police have not identified, was also wounded and transported to York Hospital. West Manchester Township Police Chief John Snyder said she was shot in the face and that she was “an innocent bystander.” "We've been talking to the family and to her, and she seems to be doing as well as can be expected," Snyder said.

How the Regal movie theater shooting happened
Based on witness statements, police reported the following occurred at the Regal West Manchester, 455 Town Center Drive:
• A male witness and his girlfriend, who was the female later shot and wounded, entered the theater first and found seats, but they had noticed two other men in a red car in the parking lot.
• The men who arrived in the red car went into the theater together and sat in the row in front of the first witness and his girlfriend.
• When White entered the theater, he and the two men from the red car had a "brief verbal exchange," and then the two men moved to a seat closer to White.
• Shortly after, one of the two men from the red car got up and headed toward the exit, while the other got up and went to the back row, where White was seated, shot him, and continued to fire shots as he fled.
• The male witness's girlfriend was struck by two of those rounds, including once in the face.
Bellaflores and Johnson could be seen on surveillance video walking past the ticket check station at about 10:06 p.m. without any conversation with employees, charging documents state. They headed directly to the theater where the shooting occurred.
The two men were then seen on video running from the theater toward the main exit around 10:14 p.m.
A man called 911 at about 10:17 p.m., yelling that his girlfriend had been shot in the face.

West Manchester Township Police Officer Timothy Fink arrived about 1 minute after the dispatch. The lights in the theater were out, and the movie, "Queen & Slim," was running as Fink entered the theater and found the wounded female victim.
He then found White lying on the floor in the back row after another person pointed him out.

Why "yet another?" It's only the second one, as far as I know.
That's not bad considering there are probably around 150,000 screenings every single day (or more) at the USA's movie theaters.

And, a screwball shooting his own girlfriend is a completely different scenario than a crazed lunatic opening fire and killing a bunch of random people.

Agreed, this looks like a targeted attack on a few individuals, not a terrorist attack, which targets essentially as many random people as possible to "maximize impact". This could've happened anywhere else, like the local restaurant, grocery store, pub, etc.
