From reading , I gather that Dolby's present 3D scheme was developed by Infitec and introduced in 2007, and consists of Dolby cat 834 dichroic lens glasses and a second cat 948 color wheel in projector. Was there a prior Dolby 3D scheme using circular polarization? I'd like to come by a few pair of the glasses shown below, which I understand use circular polarization. What is the nomenclature for them? Will appreciate some history, which I've not managed to find using the Search command.
