Yes. Of course. The CAT700 works with the CP500, CP650, DA20 and the DA10. The pinout on the cables are the same for all.

Now, the CP650 (and CP500) must have the Dolby Digital card(s). In the case of the CP650, that is the CAT 773 board. When it boots up, it should indicate the boards installed. The CP650 program will show if the CAT 773 is present plus, if one scrolls to the bottom of the menu on the front panel (press the left grey button while rotating the volume control), you can get to the screen that shows the installed boards.
