There's a whole series of these After We Did This and That movies, and After Ever Happy is the next instalment in the story of the relationship/romance between Tessa and Hardin.
Each movie consists of them breaking up, making up, having sex, then breaking up again and repeat four or five times with some kind of a cliffhanger at the end and "to be continued". Basically, it's a combination of a soap opera and soft-core porn. The last one ended with Hardin finding out who his real father is, "to be continued"; this one starts with all the the angst associated with that revelation, goes through several more cycles of break up/come back, and at the end they (of course) break up and "to be continued."
Certainly not something that's made for the likes of me, but it has a following among women in the 20-50 age group. A new chapter comes out about once every year or so and I always have a few people asking when the next one is coming so it's worth playing. A blockbuster it is not, but it has its own smallish crowd and since these movies usually come around in a slower movie season it works out rather well.
It has an audience, so okey dokey. I can play that.
