We saw this in a local theater earlier this week. We thought it was great. A young girl is part of an impoverished family in Ireland. The father drinks many of his meals. The mother is pregnant again, so the girl (Cait) goes to spend the summer at a distant cousin's home. There she sees what life and especially parents could be. At the end of the summer, she is taken back home. Then there's an "Alfred Hitchcock ending" that leaves you wondering what will happen next.
