Here's a horror movie that's set in France in the 1950's, largely at a boarding school for girls.
It's a pressure cooker. And it looks good: the scenery and backgrounds fit right in with the whole "everything is routine right up until it suddenly falls apart".
Horror movies aren't really my thing but this is one of the better ones. While there's certainly a good share of bloody violence it doesn't just rely on chopping 'em up and seeing how much blood we can drain onto the floor.
Some of setup for the ending epic battle gets a bit silly, the galloping around in the halls in particular, but overall anyone who's into this stuff should like it.
