My favorite radio talk show, John and Ken, does a gag that that they call the ghoul pool. It works like this: on New Year's Eve, you submit a list of three celebrity names to the show, who you predict will die during the forthcoming calendar year. You get bonus points if one of your nominations is not a death from natural causes. The first listener to score all three (i.e. the day on which the third passes away) wins a prize, unless someone else scores three that include a bonus point qualifier later in the year.
Someone nominated Kirk Douglas, Little Richard and Carl Reiner, and as of now is the winner, unless another listener scores a bonus point. Someone else nominated Douglas, Reiner and Harvey Weinstein, and is still potentially in the running...Comment
