A question asked on another forum, and I should know the answer but don't remember. For trailers, when did the MPAA Rating tag move from the end to the beginning?

I *think* the tag had moved by the time I got into the business .... sometime in early to mid-70s I think. I started working at the drive-in in 1975 and I don't remember the tags being on the end at that time. I did a quick Google and didn't fine anything.
Before there was the current "green" rating tag, there was a generic blue tag at the beginning saying the trailer had been approved for all audiences but I don't think the actual rating appeared up front until sometime later.
