Darin, I used to get my candy shipped in from a wholesaler in Detroit. They used a courier service and delivery was generally only about 6.00. The most expensive candy were generally Reese's and Duds at about 1.10. Most others were generally .90.
I then switched to our local grocer since most of last year was slow for business. I could get any box for 1.00. They're now up to 1.25 across the board and pretty much all wholesalers are about the same price. The grocery is just as good as any at this point since no shipping costs or minimums are required. Just a shopping cart and I'd rather give them the business. They do a lot for our town.
