Correlation Between Christie Series 1 & 2 Spare Parts

Hello,

I was wondering if some spare parts can be exchangeable between Series 1 & Series 2 Projectors ? mainly fans, power supplies UV filters etc.

When i check the material part numbers and the names it suggests they are indeed the same parts but i cannot be sure.

For example part no 003-00320-03 is for LPS ( Ballast) 7KW. It is the same for CP2000-SB and CP2230. Or 003-001195-01 LPS (Ballast) 3KW for both CP2000-ZX and CP2220. There are other parts as well as i said before, mainly fans, mostly mechanical things.

Could anyone confirm if indeed this is not a numbering mistake on Christie's side and are identical spare parts ?

Yes, there are some parts shared between series.

Indeed, also there is the reflector (CP2000/CP2230), the internal blower fan, some interlock switches, but that's pretty much it, beside what you wrote above. None of the electronic boards are compatible.
