On one hand, I agree, Bruce. On the other, there is so much time and effort that one dedicate to such a task.
I tried to reason with the person that I communicated and I got responses that do not address the issue.
After once or twice, if you don't have the ability to talk to decision makers, repeating yourself to policy followers doesn't move things forward. The supplier doesn't piss me off, they let me down.That's the reason that I am trying to figure out alternative handling.
If no alternative seems reasonable, reason calls for another solution.
Functionality, from my point of view, is both capacity and operability. Having a kitchen knife that cuts smoothly but has no handle long enough to hold properly, beats the purpose. You either have to move what you want to cut, smear or support around the knife, or you have to use one that does the job for you.
