Hello friends, I keep getting this error message with the identifier: 5670 "dowser - set dowser open failed" in my barco DP2k projector, although it doesn't affect the operation, everything still runs smoothly except for red tail light . Please who has experience and what could be the possible cause and solution. Thanks as you respond.

Either the dowser isn't functioning or when one presses the button, it is "bouncing" and causing a double-hit...that will get the error you showed. Do you get the same error message when you operate it with "Communicator" on your PC (or Touchscreen)? If yes, you likely have either a bad dowser or dowser position switch.

Haven't seen that error message yet, but my first hunch would probably also be the dowser position sensor/switch, but maybe it's also worthwhile to check if the dowser isn't stuck in the open position?Comment
