First US Installation of Cinity

Developed by Christie with the support of Ang Lee. It was launched with the release of Gemini Man in 4K 120fps 3D. A system was temporarily installed at TCL Chinese for the premiere of that film.

Regional chain, Marcus Theatres has installed the first US system at the Majestic Cinema of Brookfield in Wisconsin.

Although it's a crock of you know what, some directors might like it's effect. But if I was a DP it would drive me nuts. Anyways, if it is HFRing movies where that was not intended to be then I'd certainly skip seeing it at that theater.

Nobody is forcing HFR. This projection system is just capable of displaying that when those movies that have it are released.
