I wonder how many of you are taking advantage of the prolific blogs and webinars many companies are offering during the down time due to COVID-19? There is quite a bit of good information out there and some stuff that you used to have to fly to the manufacturer to obtain that now can be had in webinar form.
For instance, if you like or are considering Rational Acoustic's SMAART analyzer, they have probably on the order of 15-hours worth of webinars on software. https://www.rationalacoustics.com/su...ining-Webinars
QSC has had blogs and videos but they have been churning out at a greater pace as of late and they are quite good. https://blogs.qsc.com/cinema/?_ga=2....525.1568766256. You do have to request to see the webinars but they can also be quite informative and some of QSC's new products/speakers are covered.
The Q-SYS division of QSC has also been quite prolific in their webinars on all sorts of things from scripting to UCIs to gain structure so those are also videos worth checking out. Some need to be accessed via request and I'm seeing that some are available on QSC's YouTube site directly.
Dolby and GDC both have been busy on the the Webinar/Video plan too. So again, there are some good resources out there, particularly about new products or ones that you may have not used yet.
There is good stuff out there for all sort of things and I've found that I prefer to watch the webinars NOT in real time as I can get through them faster and get the information or rewind and make sure I get the information that I may have missed on the first pass.
