I had some old STMPTE DCPs fail current validation checks with errors "2K image must be encoded with a guardbit value of 1
4K image must be encoded with a guardbit value of 2". I like to do custom encoding with Adobe After Effects for DCPs for various reasons and used Fnordware's J2K plugin. The developer updated it for it for me so that problem is fixed. I searched online and found that Deluxe is currently checking for this in QC but curious who else is? And for older SMPTE DCPs, should they be re-encoded?
