Dubber encoders mounted in the FP-38D’s. I fabricated the bracket and with the help of a local machinist made a jig to get the encoder pulleys mounted to the original motor pulleys. Encoders feed at 10 pulse/frame. Note the gigantic sprocket on the take-ups ... these are "standard" frictions, not the accelerated frictions I really need to get a tight wind on standard reels or cores.
