Lark Theatre
Larkspur, Ca
The Lark Theatre was built in the 50's by the Blumenfeld Theatre chain.
A family run chain that ran nearly every theatre in the San Francisco Bay
Area. This theatre is identical (except in dimension) to the Park
Theatre in Lafayette, CA and the Noyo Theatre in Willits, CA.
Although a bit run-down, most people find the Lark a funky but fun
place to see a show. The main problem with the auditorium are the
poor acoustics and the fact that the stage speakers sit one right next
to the other. NO SEPARATION AT ALL!
The ever famous narrow "submarine" stairs. Film cans are always
a thrill. Picture a platter and lamphouse coming up this things!
Century SAW with a Christie Console and an Anniversary AW3. Ultra
Stereo on the sound rack.
Special thanks to Scott Neff and Aaron Sisemore for the pics.
