We have need to replace both the lamp houses on our Vic 8’s . We are currently running a pair of zenith 4000's
Recently we took possession of two x8000 lamphouses in good condition kindly donated to us. On further investigation it seems both lamphouses have different mirrors in them and this causes us a bit of a problem maintaining consistency on our dual projection set up. A source tells me Cinemeccanica actually produced three variants of the x8000 though you’d never know it to look at them from the outside.
In short i'm trying to get a matching pair of 8000's together and wondered if anyone had or knew of one they were willing to part with assuming it matches one of the variants we have. Happy to exchange for one of the 8000's we have been given or buy it. I would also consider working something out for any matching pair of lamphouses that take 2k horizontal lamps and would fit the Vic 8.
