Because I have plans to write a couple of articles, which also focus on cine projection lenses in part, I'm looking for lenses from different series - most of them likely very dated by now, but (to me) still interesting from a historical standpoint and for comparisons (because many of them are very poorly documented). I found a couple of interesting samples already, but am still looking for the following:
- ISCO Cinelux-Xenon
- ISCO Super-Kiptar (f/1.6) or Super-Kiptar S (f/1.5)
- ISCO Kiptron
- Optische Werke Göttingen/Schneider Kiptar Serie I to V (different from the regular Kiptars)
- Busch Neokino lenses (only the ones with big diameters like 82.5 mm and up)
- Bausch & Lomb Super-Cinephor lenses
- Wollensak cinema Raptar (or similar)
- Projection Optics Hilux or Super-Hilux
- Optical Proiectar/Proyectar lenses
I'm well aware that many of these lenses are very dated and that it's unlikely to find samples which still are in great condition - but that's not the main point in my case. Unless they're completely broken (like very strong heat damage, big cracks in the glass, missing lens elements etc.) they can still be of use in terms of documentation.
Please let me know (preferrably via Message) if you have any of these lenses and would consider selling them. There's no immediate urgency, but I would appreciate it, if I was able to include some more into my planned documentation to provide a better historical overview and more accurate information!
