    "CRACKERS" (1984) [FLAT]
    5 Reels / Mono / 1hr, 31min
    2008 Print on Kodak 2383
    Universal Vault Answer Print

This movie was shot here in San Francisco, and most of the locations
were within several blocks of the venue I work at. It was part of a series
of films shot locally that we run from time to time.

    > This was an absolutely stunning "vault print" from 2008. I'm not even
sure that it had ever been run, since all the original leaders & lab stickers,
etc were still in place, and I couldn't find a fingerprint or speck of dirt
anywhere on it. Color was spectacular, and it even had one of those old
"When In Hollywood, Visit Universal Studios" tags at the end which were
on almost all their films from some time in the mid 70's thru the 1980's.

Is “Sneakers” on that list? An all time SF fav of mine.

Getting to show a minty vintage print in 2025 is a real treat, had that experience with a couple of Rodriguez personal/studio prints. Had to cut locks off both films, studio had long ago lost the keys.
