I came back for wicked in English at that IMAX at Uci Orio, Italy and It sounded really well this time. Finally the bass were present and aggressive when they kicked in. There's still a little echo but I think it's due to the geometry and physics of the auditorium and also around 3 or 4 little squares are visible in middle in bright scenes, so screen shakers, but probably they will wait a lot before replacing them or the screen. I have read IMAX AMC metreon has the same screen shakers problem. Still, a really really good cinematic experience in a 1.90 dual laser IMAX, about 100ft width.
I don't know if the lack of bass was due to the Italian dubbing but I don't think this is the reason, just probably it has a better EQ now. Obviously all just deductions as customer, not want to identify as an expert.
