I wish the LSS-200 were still in production. With a test show, it measures screen luminance and chromaticity. It also measures the SPL from each audio channels. All results are graphed. So, you can watch your luminance fall off as the lamp ages. We discovered a couple interesting issues in a theater using the LSS. We had the LSS measure the SPL of "silence." We found that it increased one day and stayed that way. A rubber mount had failed in the air conditioner causing low frequency vibration in the auditorium. Another interesting issue was now and then there would be increased high frequency rolloff on the left and right channels for a week or two (but not the center), then it would come back. That turned out to be the speakers were covered by masking when a flat movie was shown.
