We currently have three support tickets open with this same issue for "Wicked". I reached out to Deluxe 11/25 and was promised a response but, as of now, there has been no answer..

Assume it's the same issue - we have had this happen occasionally. The playback just stops for a half-second then starts again, every couple of seconds. They've checked our logs and etc. and never found a problem. We've always solved it by rebooting the system, that clears it up until it happens again. It's very infrequent -- maybe once in 4 to 6 months? But we only do 1 or 2 shows per day, so your mileage may vary.

I doubt the issue is with Deluxe, by the way. I think it's probably a server problem, if you're getting the same thing we've had.

I'll say (knocking on wood) that I've never seen that issue here with my SR1000. I wonder if it's somehow related to the projector it's attached to. I have a Christie 2210.

If a reboot fixes it, I wonder if it's a memory leak. And, as a workaround, perhaps a scheduled reboot (once per day or once per week) would be appropriate.

Therefore, LAN A on the Alchemy has to be used for management, plus Atmos if LAN B is needed for media. This is not so much of a problem with Series 4.
Hmmm strange! I have newer used alchemy ports for anything except media/atmos on either series of barco. And newer had any issues sending api tru projector nic. Only issue i had is, if you connect both alchemy lan A or B on same switch as projector nic, and if they are in same range, than we would get problems with tcp sending to automation devices,so totaly opposite of you're situation. And i remember barco always told you not to use same range of projector and alchemy media ports!

Yeah. This crops up every few months. I reboot, refresh, and keep going. But I wish there was a more permanent solution. Might just see if I can get replacements for the 2 SR-1000s. Our service provider never got back to me on the log pulls. Guess they're busy over at GDC. Makes me wish I could just look at it myself.

I've only installed two ICMPs in Series 2 projectors for Atmos playback and with a media LAN in use, the most recent being just before covid. I didn't note which hardware version the CCBs were, and in any case, two installs isn't really a statistically significant sample.

Agreed on the DVI problem, though. I'm currently working a case with exactly that fault: second generation CCB (the one that hosts a full scale web UI), and the DVI inputs simply don't work. The SEL lght comes on but the SYNC light will not. Tried a bunch of different devices, without success. A laptop recognizes the sink as being "BARCO CINEMA," and so something is happening: but it simply is not passing the video data to the ICP. Tried force reflashing the entire software/firmware bundle, overwriting the DVI. .input files from a base clone, and of course contact cleaining and reseating. This is a single screen venue, and I'm currently trying to get my hands on another CCB to test with, before recommending that they buy one (don't want to recommend buying a pricey part without being certain that it'll fix the problem).

Leo, while testing a site with all gen-2 CCBs...I ran into that. I found that if I did a soft reboot (Diagnostics>Test Reboot Projector) brought it up with a stable DVI port. Hokey, to say the least. I also, on another unit, found that if I wiggled the DVI connection (lock screws not tightened) that I could get it to lock in.

Since this is more than just a single unit, I'm thinking it is worthy of making a fuss to Barco to address. Fortunately, on the site I'm working on, they have an alternative path (HDMI port on a Doremi SV/IMB) that had no problem with the signal.

The site that has this problem is a post house, with a quad SDI card in the option slot, so there is no alternative HDMI. I don't think it's a physical connection issue, because (a) the source can see the sink, displaying its ID as "BARCO CINEMA," and (b) identical symptoms present with both DVI jacks. Multiple reboots were done during the initial troubleshooting phase, too.

No, I don't think it is a connection issue. The wigging of the DVI connector was to force it to go through its "hotplug" routine many times.
