  • Christie 2210 - Satellite Hardware Mismatch

    Hi there, have a christie CP2210 projector that brought up a critical error message at the end of a show.

    first displayed : Blue Satellite Link Error & ICP Reported System Error
    picture on screen yellow tinge
    then on powering off and back on starts fine green lights showing but after 30 secs or so of powering up projector, it gives red critical again and Satellite Hardware Mismatch message
    on screen still yellow

    any help much appreciated...

    your ICP seems to be unable to communicate with the blue DMD satellite board which is on the light engine. It's kind of a known issue with some projectors. Chances are that you just need those cables/cards to be re-seated. You might need a new LEQD cable - the cable connecting the light engine to the ICP and rest of the cards.

    Worst case scenario you might need a new ICP and/or a new light engine.

    There is nothing you can do by yourself though, the projector needs to be opened and marriage reset at the end. If you open the projector it will disable itself until it's re-enabled with a special password.

    In short: you need a technician on site
