Thank you!
Normally in the IMS3000 UI should appear in the right corner some audio functions like fader and mute like the image, I have a cp950 so fullt compatible but I don't see it
Somebody can help me?
thanks
Andrea

The IMS3000, for several years now, ships in "Server Mode" by default. This means that the audio processor functions are not activated. Those that want to use the server as an audio processor can license them (1-time, perpetual license; one can also expand that into a full Dolby Atmos license, if desired too). So, if you look in the upper-left part of your Overview screen, it should say "Server Mode"
It did not, ever, provide a user interface for the CP950. It was its own independent UI/Control.
Your means of controlling the CP950 is by executing cues (like for any other sound processor). Dolby makes it slightly easier because the include a cue library for the CP950 (and the rest of the Dolby cinema processor line up, in addition to a couple of legacy libraries that were there before Dolby acquired Doremi).
Yes, you would need to activate the audio processor, which is licensed (you would need to pay for that). And note, it would be its own sound processor, independent of the CP950.
If Andrea has in mind the UI function of the DSS servers, whereby they give you what is in effect a remote fader for a CP650 or later Dolby processor...
Now...if you embrace Q-SYS...most things are possible (UI wise).
One would think that Dolby would let the IMS3000 have the volume/mute functions for their processors (CP650 - CP950) as a convenience as well as for cueing (rather than discrete cues). My guess is that not enough people actually use a server's UI day-to-day for there to be any demand for the UI improvement.
I don't understand why in their manual they still write that the fader and mute would be there normally instead to say that I have to ask and pay only for a shortcut. It is stupid. Also cause I paid for the cp950 and ims3000 already

I'm a bit confused. If you have a cp950 to process audio why do you need the audio processor turned on in the ims3000?
If you are just after manual remote control capability, normally you would just remote into the cp950, or build appropriate fader macros to use within cue lists. Or go crazy and build/code something to talk to the cp950 network controls separately.
If the CP950 is on firmware version 2.2.0.4 or later, there is a dedicated fader UI. Enter http://[address of CP950]/fader into a browser, and you will see this:
Useful if you want to give a house manager the ability to make slight adjustments during a walkaround using his or her phone, or a filmmaker during a tech check - that sort of thing.

I don't think you are understanding. What you are seeing in the manual is the INTERNAL SOUND PROCESSOR (which is completely separate from controlling anything external. I NEVER was for controlling a CP950 (or its predecessors). It is in lieu of those processors. Even if you bought the sound processor upgrade to show the fader/meters...it would not control your CP950. Furthermore, I believe the AES3 outputs, that you are currently using to feed your CP950 are not controlled by the IMS3000 fader. The IMS3000 fader controls the AES67 outputs (Dolby Atmos Connect) with the presumption that it is feeding the Dolby DAC, DMA or other AES67 device, like Q-SYS or even AES67 capable amplifiers.
Your desire to have a feature that was on the DSS series of servers, where the server displayed the Dolby CP fader was NEVER a feature of the IMS series (which was developed by Doremi).
As Leo has pointed out above, you can get a web based fader (for your computer or phone or pad) by using the IP address of the CP950.

Ok thanks, now I understand. I already now the ip/fader link but I supposed that every sound processor could be managed directly from the Ims3000 UI. I have all macros on ims3000, but it was a nice option, all from one page
There was a LOT nice about the DSS series of servers, with respect to the GUI. Then again, they not only wouldn't talk to other brands of sound processors, they would put up a great big "Disconnected" (that you couldn't get rid of) if you used other brands.
This is why for my Q-SYS sites with DSS200 servers, I developed a component that makes the DSS200 think it is talking with a CP650 so Mute and Volume level work (bi-directional) and they can cue that server's volume the same way they cue any Dolby CP theatre.

You can add MACRO shortcuts but the volume GUI you posted at the top is for the INTERNAL SOUND PROCESSOR, not to drive an external one. Because you already have the 950, you don't need that and you don't need to pay anything - just the feature you're looking for does not exist.
If memory serves, you can have a shortcut to the macros on the IMS3000 menu - that's the best you can do.

Yes, I understood, I have already macro and hotkey . Now I understood but they are all dolby products and it would be nice to have common Ui for something. It is not so difficult. Thanks to all
